Not only did he explode and hit it like a Freight train he also wanted it so bad that he completely swallowed the frog. Hooks get lounged pretty deep in so it does get hard trying to take the hooks out.Ĭomments: Bought one today and 3rd cast caught a monster Northern Pike. The bottom half of the frog stays under water so when fish hit it, they arent gonna miss. It was hands down one of my favorite top water lures at one point till I lost it. The yellow and black one is the one that I have.Ĭomments: This popper frog is amazing. you fish frogs in slop dont buy it save for something betterĬomments: I love this lure! I caught my first 3+ pounder on this in late summer. And why would you put treble hooks on a frog. The hook keepers broke after the third cast it doesn't pop or walk. I have one of each color and one custom painted in black n blue frog pattern !!!Ĭomments: This is the worst frog out there. Would buy again.Ĭomments: I have the tan/ brown one in the 65T this lure cast well and has a nice weight to it I like how the back is weighted and I get a better hook up ratio with this lure over standard poppers the cup of the mouth has a nice shape and the hooks are sticky sharp all around great popper.Ĭomments: Flourescent yellow/green cathces fish! The hooks are very durable and the bass love the bait!įrom: John Hamilton: Wegan, Indiana 3/19/19Ĭomments: Great lure !!! Awesome pop great action but I did upgrade my trebles to #5 trapper tackle hooks and #2 split rings. The action is great and so is the paint job (unless a pike shows up). Not only that but the lure was far down in its mouth. Comments: It took me a while to catch my first fish on it but when the time came, a three pound northern pike came up and quite literally destroyed the lure.
